Normal behaviour once crawling?

My son has turned 7 months and this weekend gone has just learnt to crawl properly, since then he’s been crawling around lot and also pulling himself up on the sofa to standing position and then crying after a few seconds standing. He’s suddenly also lost interest in his toys and just wants to stand holding the sofa or crawl around, is this normal
For a 7 month old to not be interested in his toys etc?

I think as hes just learnt to crawl/stand up hes just more intrested in exploring things he couldn't before! its all new and exciting to them! Him crying when standing is probably because he doesnt yet know how to get back to the floor? I'm sure it's all 100% normal Smile

Yep its normal

Yep normal. I hated that stage... and found the crawling stage really challenging in general as DD was frustrated a lot and cried too. She’s much happier now she’s walking, luckily it was fairly early.

It will pass. Smile

Sounds quite normal to me, bless him. He'll be crawling out of the door at 60mph before you know it :-). It's a lovely age, make the most of it.

Yes thanks all, yes he gets very frustrated at times bless him, and yes am finding it hard work, he’s also started not wanting to stay laid down for nappy changes and wanting to sit up all the time eek

Normal here too. My boy is 10 months and literally wants to do nothing but stand up and for us to walk him everywhere. Particularly me. If I put him down he immediately crawls over to me and grabs at me to stand him up. Bless them I'm sure it's just the excitement of wanting to explore the world.
