Cluster feeding - how many days

For the last two/three nights my DD (two weeks old) has been cluster feeding all evening, from about 5pm till midnight.

Today she's stopped and is only feeding every 3-4 hours. I know I should be just very grateful but just wondered if it's normal for cluster feeding to only last a couple of days?

She lost quite a lot of weight in her first week and has only out it back on, so worried she won't be getting enough.

My dd never cluster fed, just go with your baby they'll tell you when they are hungry

I think it’ll come and go. Sometimes all evening, other times not interested. But you have to trust your tiny baby to let you know.
(And then tomorrow they’re teenagers and feed constantly again...)

My guzzler is 4 weeks and I feel like I've been cluster feeding for days. Well not even cluster feeding, it's all bloody day. If he's not asleep he's feeding and he only naps about an hour at a time....

According to the Wonder Weeks app, he's in a leap so I'm hoping he feeds less soon....

My first did this but I could just sit and ride it out. It's harder to have a constant feeder when you have a 3 year old too!
