DD can be such a wimp/drama queen/sensitiva sometimes - do I need to toughen her up?

I think 9 is still pretty young so wouldn't be trying to toughen her up! Just tell her the story of the boy who cried wolf to make the point that it is best only to kick up a fuss over the big things...

Im like you YP. Hate drama.

Even when my kids are playing & they are screaming like that it gets my nerves on edge.

My dd trembles & screams if anyone is there when she falls...yet the other day I watched her through the window falling off her bike, she looked to see if anyone was there for sympathy & as I was behind the blinds she couldn't see me, she jumped right back on the bike!
