Big feet?

We took our 10.5 month old son to get his first shoes today.
As always, we got comments regarding him being a big boy - he has been in 12-18 month clothing for a while and does seem significantly bigger than the other babies at nursery.

He measured at 5.5. Is this unusually big? The assistant made quite a fuss about how we were lucky to get shoes this size in the style he needs (for first time walkers).

He was 4 weeks premature and over 8lbs but we didn’t know if he would carry on being on the larger side.

I'm sure you could have googled this but yes, it's large for a 10 month old. Google tells me that on average children are about 2 before their feet are their size of your child's (not my personal experience, my DS' feet are so big I think he might be part rabbit).

It'll all even out eventually.
