Nappy that only holds poo?

I am looking for a nappy that only holds poo, not wee... essentially a swim nappy but to wear all the time, does such a thing exist?

To cut a long story short, my son is toilet trained for wees but not poos - but it was difficult to train for wees and we have persisted for about 8 months without nappies to try and make progress with poos but have recently reverted back to nappies to give everyone a break (and other medical investigations are ongoing). However, now that he is back in nappies, my son has gradually stopped saying he needs the toilet and just wees in his nappies. I would rather avoid him regressing completely so wondering what we can do!

I've never come across any although I've not bought any nappies for a while. Can you not just use swimming nappies?

Washable training pants? They hold a little bit but not much so he’d get wet but will hold in poo.

Yes I can but they are just quite expensive compared with the price of a normal pull up so seems strange to be paying more for a nappy that does less, so just wanted to check if there were any other options..

I’ve just bought a totsbots reusable swim nappy and I think that would probably do the job. They come in some brilliant patterns! It does mean more washing tho

I got some Terry toweling pants from mothercare. They won't hold a wee, so he'd def leak through to his trousers etc. Ahould hold a poo but might depend on the size of them. DS has man poo I swear to god.

What about old fashioned reusable terry nappies?
