Child protection on the internet

Good day. I guess this topic should be relevant to every parent because the internet became a really bad place for kids. There are many porn sites and porn ads popping out randomly and our kids can see them anywhere. I had this bad experience with my kid and after that, I started looking for a solution. For windows os I found familyfriendlydns.com/ which blocks porn sites and ads. But I still do not have a solution for mac os. Would appreciate your suggestions how I could block the same content on mac.

Firstly, do remember that tech blocks and filters are not perfect. You will still need to supervise your DC (there is lots of other undesirable content out there)

K9 is free, very good and works on both Mac and windows.

Strongly recommend for those who use both.

Finally, what you get a pop ups reflects what someone with access to that gadget is looking at (they are targeted from previous browsing behaviour).

Agree with scaevola. But talking about windows I still would rather use familyfriendlydns.com than k9. But that's just my opinion
