It's all developmental so not much you can do apart from floor time. Have you spoken to your HV to check about the crawling? I think they expect babies to be crawling by 1, but wouldn't refer for not walking till much later (18 months I think). Happy to be corrected on that as I'm just going off what other mums have mentioned!

I haven't spoken to her yet no! I think I'll ring her tomorrow. I've heard that too by other mums

Neither of mine walked until they were 14+ months. At 7 and almost 5 now they’re both very physically active with no discernible difference from their peers. DS1 has actually just aced all of his pre-primary dance exams and was selected for school football and tennis tournaments. He’s also doing really well in gymnastics.

A friend’s DS was a bum-shuffler (never crawled) until he was almost two. Now, at four, he does parkour.

There’s nothing more you can do at this age other than ensure she has plenty of opportunity to get around herself - floor time as a PP said, not instantly handing her things but giving her time to get to something out of reach herself before getting too frustrated, and assisting her to stand to low surfaces like sofas or coffee tables. DS1’s toy kitchen gave DS2 plenty of standing fun at that age (still didn’t get him walking any earlier than DS1, though).

Nothing.

Neither of my DS crawled until about a year or walked until 18 months. Now nether of them sit or stand still.

If you have concerns over their development, delays in other areas or they seem reluctant or unable to weight bare then I would speak to the HV. But otherwise it's a matter of waiting.

Make the most of it! Life becomes much harder once they can move.

One advantage of a later walker is they tens to be more cautious. My kids have walked at 15 months, 22 months, 10 months, 14 months and 9 months.
The two who walked before they were a year Had many many more bruises and bumps than the other 3. And, in the long run, it makes no difference - noone cares once they've started running!

One is early to walk? Just make sure they don't spend all day in a walker/buggy/bouncer/sling and they'll get there.
