Hi everyone,

Just after a little help from anyone who may have experiences with SPD.

My 2 year old daughter likes to have her hands clean (face it doesn’t matter) she’s fine with me wet wiping it, (only recently). She hates certain textures like PlayDoh and won’t walk if there’s a slight breeze so I carry her a lot.

She’s also very shy at certain Toddler groups and will only sit with me or hold my hand and be with me whilst she’s playing as soon as I walk away she cry’s.

Does this sound like SPD? What’s the first step in getting help?

Thankyou

My 2 year old son is super active. He won't sit at one place, he keeps running all the time, he throws everything on the floor whether it's a toy or my phone; he loves playing with water and is very fussy for transition; like he wants to keep doing the same thing repeatedly, also he screams a lot if he doesn't get anything he wants. In the park, he only wants to be on the swing and not on the slide. He doesn't talk much abd has between 50 to 70 words in his vocabulary. If you call him by his name, he will turn back to you. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE SPD?
