Baby fell on tiled floor

I can’t believe I’m posting this and will quite happily be told “Hmm it’s obviously fine”

Youngest has just started taking a few steps and was standing up on a tiled floor and went forwards onto her face...the thud was heartbreaking

After a second she cried but not screamed, had a drink of water and calmed down playing normally after about 5 mins

Was due a nap so is now sleeping (half an hour later)

Can’t see any bumps but I’m worried because it was hard tile floor and a proper thud!

Should I just go with the old if she seems ok she is ok?

I’m not sure if it was her head or her face she banged as I was behind her

I'm not going to tell you that your child is ok because she fell on her head and I am not a medic.

Mine however fell over several times a week. Unless they showed signs of any problems I just left them to it.

If she'd hit her head or face hard enough to cause damage there would be a mark or an egg on her head or something, I really wouldn't worry but if you are at all concerned phone 111 for advice! My youngest fell when he was about the same age and I thought he'd maybe banged the back of his head but wasn't 100% sure as I'd had my back to him at the time, I phoned 111 and they reassured me and said just to keep an eye on him.

Thank you for responding!

Mine fall over so often, into walls, floors, each other... but I’m worried because it was her head on tiled floor

Have yours done something like this?

Sorry I also realise I should get medical advice if I was worried, but looking more for has this happened to you, which you all are helping with :) thank you, It’s just getting a couple of opinions I find helps sometimes!

Mine does this several times a week. I always thought if there were none of the symptoms of injury like vomiting or dizziness then they were fine.
