What can I take?

I have a splitting headache, I'd usually take paracetamol and ibuprofen but I'm still breastfeeding (DS is 13 months - if age is relevant) and I don't know if it's safe to take them alongside each other whilst breastfeeding.

I know one or the other is fine, so I took paracetamol an hour ago but it hasn't really helped at all. Would it be okay to take some ibuprofen now or is it best not to?

As you can give both to him directly and any through your milk will be minimal then yes it's fine. I was told to take both when DD was much younger and feeding.

It's fine

Fine to take both, and codeine.
