Hi I have a 2 nearly 3 year old I am really struggling with him at the moment I am a single parent and when it’s just me and him at home I have to deal with temper tantrums all the time and he doesn’t listen to me and throws stuff but as soon as he goes nursery he is a totally different child or when I have guests over or I am out with others he is a different child and the tantrums are no where near as bad but I now have my neighbours telling me my child is out of control and I need to get control of him but I have tried naughty step and corner and they just don’t work some people have mentioned to me that he may have adhd or autism or even oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) but I have mentioned this multiple times when I had a health visitor and all I get is they can’t test him until he gets to the age of 5 and don’t seem to give me any advice I have asked nursery and they didn’t really know what else to do either but I really need help as it’s causing problems with the neighbours now him always having tantrums has anyone please got some advice please thanks in advance

What's his diet like? Much processed foods, sweets, juice? I ask because my DD1 was badly affected by things like red jelly or haribo....massive meltdowns.

When I stopped ANY processed foods, she was like a new child. Also, is he getting enough physical activity and sleep? When he's not at nursery, are you taking him outside to play daily?
