How do I stop DC turning on taps

15 month old loved to try and turn the taps on during bath time! Have tried telling him off/distracting him but he always wants to pull them. They're the ones that are super easy to switch on and I'm scared he will burn himself. Anyone got am amazing gadget?

Hard to know without seeing your taps. Please make sure your hot water is set at a reasonable temp at source though, if it gets rapidly hot then you’ve got less time to react.

I'm sure there is a "tap guard" type thing available.

It brings up lots of different ones.

Cover them with a towel so he can't see them? Use a large elastic band to secure the towel if he's pulling it off. You could put a fabric bag over the taps if the towel is too bulky. Make sure you sit him in the bath with his back to the taps too.

Thanks all

These are similar to the taps we have

So super easy to pull on, we have a communal boiler In our flat so the water is always boiling hot. I'll try the towel and google the tap guards

Thanks!
