What tog duvets do your kids use?

I feel like I should know the answer to this already Blush

Years ago when DS was a toddler and we were moving from sleeping bags to duvets, I read some guidelines online which said that toddlers don't need a high Tog duvet. So I got him a 4.5 Tog one. Now he's almost 7 and still using the same duvet all year round! His room is usually warm as it gets the sun for most of the day, and that could be why he's never complained of being cold.
I was just wondering if you get different togs for your kids for summer and winter?

Also 2.5 year old DS2 should now be moving to a duvet. What tog should I get him?

Thanks!

Mine have 4.5 tog in summer and 10.5 tog in the winter. Although ds runs hot so he never changed to 10.5 tog last winter

My 2.5yr old has just moved to a 4.5 tog. 4yr old DD changed into a 10.5tog for last winter and I can't see her giving it up if we get any warmer weather!

My lot (9, 7 and 3) seem to be okay with a 7.5 tog most of the time. On very cold nights in the winter I put an extra blanket on top.

When I moved my dc from cots to beds I started with 4 tog year round. When they turned 6 I used the 4 tog in spring and summer and a 10 tog in autumn and winter.

Mine originally had a 7.5 + 4.5 Sumner /winter duvet. He's always only used the 4.5 and this year we have bought and he is currently using a 2.5 tog. We are in chilly Scotland and heating is off at night.
