10 month old- constant whining/crying

Not sure if anyone can offer any advice or just let me know i’m not alone in this?

My DD was a great baby, happiest baby and would only ever cry when hungry or very tired, about 5/6 weeks ago this changed.

She is now constantly crying or whinging or moaning from the minute she wakes up till she goes to sleep. Luckily we don’t have any issues with sleep, has good naps and sleeps well at night so whatever this is, its not tiredness.

She gets bored of toys quickly, 2-3 mins max and then starts to cry and whinge. Nappy changes are a nightmare, screaming the house down. She drinks milk fine, but if i try to feed her in the high chair, same issue so i have now started to feed her whilst chasing her around the house.

She is crawling and standing and cruising along the furniture so she isn’t stuck in one place.

I think it could be teething as she has a couple coming through at the same time, but would teething be constant for 6 weeks!? Nurofen/calpol does nothing. Anbesol sometimes works but most of the time it doesnt.

I try to go out everyday for a bit, either to visit family or baby classes or park. Sometimes she is fine but more recently even then she is the same

I love my DD so much but its driving me and my husband around the bend as nothing we do works. He does his fair share as well, when he is home from work he takes over completely so i do get to rest but I just want to help my DD be happy again.

I would love to hear of similar experiences or something to help me not pull my hair out.

Thanks Sad

Hi, my 9 month old is exactly like this at the moment. He also was such a happy baby until about 8 months old.

Must be a phase of teething/separation anxiety etc. Hope it passes soon!
