Bleeding finger!

Hi ladies

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I feel like worlds worst mummy!

Nicked little ones thumb lastnight doing his nails and it immediately started to bleed, in a panic I did what I'd do with my own and quickly sucked it until I ran to get the water wipes.

Cleaned him up with water and held a clean wipe on it after and it stopped within ten minutes but I've spent all night worrying if I've somehow given him an awful infection by putting it in my mouth!
It was just instinct and now I'm worried sick

It will be fine! Most minor injuries for my DCs were cleaned up with a suck or bit of spit Grin
You washed it any way so no problem.

I done this the other day.

For reference my baby is 5 months old and doesn't keep still.... the blood was over the sofa and had to use a sick covered Muslin and he's still alive 😀 x

@Seeline thank you. It was just spitting out so I sucked it clean to see the damage! It looked a lot worse than it was when there was blood in it!
I only cleaned it with wet wipes as it was midnight and I wasn't exactly with it!
