Teething 2.5 month old

I think my baby has started teething but at 2.5 months he is too small/doesn't have the coordination for a teething mitten or ring. He will chew on a muslin.

Are there any other things I could try with him?

Could you pop the muslin in the fridge or freezer to cool it a bit? That might help.

My DS started teething about then and just liked to chew his, and my, hand.

Calpol!
Our 4-month-old's mouth was too small for traditional teething rings. We found a great solution with her dummy. We submerged it in water and squeezed the nipple to suck up as much water as possible. Then we put it in the freezer until it was solid. It was the best thing!
Some parents swear by amber necklaces, anklets or bracelets to relieve teething pain. It’s thought that the amber releases a tiny amount of pain-relieving oil onto the skin.
