How long can a young baby be in a sling for?

My DD is 2 weeks old. DP is back in work so I'm now on my own with her and her 2 year old brother. She's recently started wanting to be held a lot (probably because her brother is noisy and startles her!!).

I have a Close Caboo carrier which has been great and baby loves it. I think I'll have to start putting her in it a bit more to get things done around the house, but I'm wondering if there's a maximum time she can be in a sling?

I don't think there is but I'd love to know too!

I had my second in a sling all day at times. He is 12 now and no problems.
Not sure if there is an official guideline.
What sort of sling is it? Is your baby supported from the pelvis?

@Nuttyaboutnutella I've looked this up today and basically if it's the right sling tied right then they only need to be taken out to be changed or fed
