Why do nappies suddenly start to leak?

I'm currently using Pampers and have done for the past 6+ months - no problems really and then suddenly today every change resulted in a nappy leak and wet clothes. Just as I thought things were getting better now feel I am going backwards - have I suddenly forgotten how to put nappies on? Anyone out there who can help?

Try the next size up

Agree it's likely to be a size issue.

Or, at risk of being flamed here, give up and use cloth figuring if you have to wash you may as well just wash a few nappies and not have to wash clothes too....

usually a sign of size, and make sure the little elastics around the legs are on the skin of tyour baby and not have a piece of the nappy trapped.

Thanks - am now using the next size (even though he isn't even the start weight on the next nappy size) and fingers crossed all OK .. so far.
