Hi sorry if this sounds really silly but I'm a first time mum. I've got a 7 month DD, started weaning about a month ago and its been very hit and miss, my daughter just doesnt have much interest which was stressful but has time as gone on and I've spoken to HV n other mums I am trying to be more relaxed about n take each day with the process. But I just struggle has my daughter isnt great at napping and will only nap if she is on someone or in her pram but fine at night in her cot (but not the best sleeper). I'm just interested in what other ppls routine was like on average.

At the moment mines is something like:

4am talking n sleeping
630/645 wake up

7/730 milk 7oz

830/845 nap anything between 30-60mins varies though.

1130 milk 7oz

1-130ish nap again anything between 30-60mins

330/345ish milk 7oz

3rd nap really varies has shes tired but fights it alot but I try to get her to nap around 4ish for 30-45mins.

Then 615 start bath time routine

715 milk 7oz and bed

Wakes up anything between 12-2 for a feed. I offer 7oz every feed but never takes a full bottle only one she tends to is the one before bed time.

I try her with food when she at her most chilled and relaxed but there been more unsuccessful days then successful. I just dont feel all that confident in what I'm doing and it gets me down alot so thought I see how others go about there day n I know every baby is different, just appreciate the guidance.

My son is 8 months old and breastfed.
We have no set routine, but he usually has around three 30 minute naps a day at a minimum (he will seriously only nap in 30 minute blocks give or take a few minutes either side).

Usual day can go as follows;
Up around 5:30 - 6:30am. We will have around 30 minutes snuggling, having boob and playing in bed.

Around 7 am when his dad gets back from walking the dog we will go down for breakfast. He usually has something like porridge or a fruit purée.

Around 8am we will go back to bed for top up boob and a 30 minute power nap.

Around 11 - 11:30 more boob and another 30 minute nap (usually we have baby class at 10am so quite often this nap will be in the car on the way home with boob when he wakes up).

Around 12 - 12:30 we have lunch (as an example today he had scrambled egg and some toast).

He will usually have another nap around 14:30 - 15:00. He’s either boobed to sleep or if he’s fighting his nap we’ll take the dog for an extra walk and he’ll sleep in pram or carrier and has boob when he wakes up.

Around 17:00 - 18:00 (depends what we are doing), we will have tea. If we are having something suitable e.g. homemade spag bol or a mild chicken curry he will have the same tea as us, otherwise he’ll have something like white fish and sweet potato with carrots (I still have a load of purée veg I bulk cooked and froze into ice cubes - handy for making quick meals).

Around 19:00 - 20:00 it’s time for bed. He’s not a very good sleeper and 99% of the time he is boobed to sleep. Thankfully I can now put him down without him instantly waking up. First sleep can be anything from 2 1/2 - 5 hours (unfortunately usually it’s the former!). So he’s usually awake again by 22:00 - 23:00, where I will boob him to sleep. He then sleeps no more than 2 hours at a time then, and quite often only 30 minutes at a time. He co-sleeps with me so whenever he wakes up I just stick a boob in his mouth and we both fall back asleep.

Rinse and repeat.

Last night he slept for 5 hours and 3 minutes which was great, so I’m hoping he will start sleeping in longer blocks by the time I have to go back to work!
