How do I keep dummy in baby's mouth?

He's ten weeks old and suffering with bad reflux due to milk allergy. The dummy helps With reflux and soothes him so not getting rid. But how, just how, do I get it to stay in his mouth? I'm lying in the dark next to him as he tries to sleep but cries every minute as he loses it! And advice please!

Put it in and keep a finger gently on it for a couple of minutes. Sometimes it takes a bit for them to get it situated. My SIL used to tap her baby’s ones gently with a finger nail

Some children just don’t take to using a dummy.

He loves the dummy, cries til he gets it. I do the tapping thing already but will try leaving my finger down on it as you say

I found the Nuby dummy's ate slightly larger and a better shape which help stay in the mouth better

Thanks for the tips
