Access for disabled people

Good Evening,

I am writing not as a parent of a disabled child but as someone who works closely with disabled children and adults on a daily basis.

Having done so for some time now, I believe the lack of disabled facilities in and around my local community and even further afield are simply not good enough.

I am working towards making access for all common place in our society.

I would greatly appreciate honest and sincere feedback from parents of disabled children (or people with disabilities both mental and/or physical) explaining their thoughts and feelings about the facilities available e.g. disabled shower/toilet facilities at events and/or festivals.

Thank you in anticipation of your cooperation.

Happy to help as a disabled parent. Might be useful if you are a bit more specific in your request for information though. I wouldn’t dream of going to a festival… Access would be a nightmare!
