My nearly 2 year old keeps biting their fingers and skin on the finger tips. Thumb and forefinger were quite red so it must be in the car, bedtime, etc. Although I had noticed it occasionally in last couple of weeks it's sometimes it's during days out arriving at a new place or new people and fingers go straight in DC's mouth. DC has been teething about a month and I initially thought it was that due to recent start of this but the skin biting seems different altogether.
I'm looking for advice on what I can do and what could be causing it. Any suggestions?
