Does anyone know of a webpage where I can look up which isofix bases for my car? It's so confusing, all these different bases that fit certain cars and then depends on which car seat will fit each base! I have a family fix base and looking at putting that into a Range Rover evoque

All isofix will fit any car with isofix points. The part comes where the actual seat itself may not work well with your car. The seats may be too sloped or the seatbelt buckles too high. Ideally get yourself to somwhwrw that will check car seat fit for you. In car safety centre (if your near) or a Halfords.

@angel0071987 ah that's great thank you for your help. I was under the impression from the lady in Mothercare that there are different isofix fittings but she obviously meant compatibility rather than fit. Thanks x

Different seats fit on different bases. Maxicosi in particular have various types of bases (family fix, easyfix etc) need to make sure they fit your seat. Plus if you have any underfloor storage compartments in your car need to check they fit as you may need to purchase a filler for the space as otherwise no support or take out cover and extend down to base of car. Check with car manual for that

Thank you, I have the family fix and know I need a CabrioFix for that which is fine. I was just confused by the isofix points themselves, I thought they had different sizes but realise now they are all the same x
