BAby led weaning?!

Hi all,

We have struggled to get DD2, now almost 10 months to eat anything that wasn't sweet without projectile vomiting. She doesn't chew much but over the past few days this has got better. Apart from now, she will not be fed off a spoon. She wants to do it her self. So I would like some baby led weaning meal ideas? Thank you

We do BLW and we literally give our LO anything we are having for a meal. Last night macaroni so she got a few spoonfuls from our plate, tonight is salmon and veg so she will get some of everything. The only difference will be no salt and the veg cut up differently to try and prevent choking.
So basically no need to make anything different! I do pack snack food for her that I would never normally eat, pea fritters, mini sausages, rice cakes etc. That's only because she snacks between meals and I don't.

If you need inspirstion:
www.healthylittlefoodies.com
mykidslickthebowl.com/kid-friendly-recipes/
Or the FB Baby led weaning uk, answer the entry questions carefully.

Hope that helps and she stops vomiting soon!

I would say just feed her anything; once I realised that DD could just eat things we eat with cutlery with her hands I just fed her everything and anything; mild curry and rice, shepherds pie, scrambled egg etc. I know people who let their babies eat youghurt with their hands but I couldn’t quite stand the mess of that so drew the line there.

Anything. This week we've had curry & rice, couscous & spicy tomato sauce, pasta, fajitas & wedges.

Thanks ladies. My worry is she rams so much in her mouth and then doesn't chew much. I don't remember DD1 doing this and causing me so much panic lol 🤦🏻‍♀️
