DS finally 'got school' at 13, teachers all happy about his effort at last parents evening. Then he went on school trip returning with a GF in the year above (10). Since then (6 weeks) his home behaviour has been awful, and he complains that the other kids follow him around and mock him. He came home yesterday with grade card showing mainly below efforts for this half term, and on report, reportedly having been told that he wouldn't be welcome back next term if he carries on. Haven't spoken to school yet, Monday. TBH had been starting to think about a more challenging school as had just had Ed Psych report showing he is 98% + on intelligence tests, and bored, before the effort started improving. There's a lot of different things going on here. Any advice on where to even start? GF, DS, school? Parents ? Thank you
