Ok so this might sound a bit of an odd question to ask but i'm just sick and tired of things going wrong

I have been having major problems with the nappy lady site after using their classifieds to sell off some unwanted nappies.

I had about 10 transactions in total both buying and selling and out of them 3 went wrong.

The first was that some nappies i bought didnt turn up and so i emailed the seller over several weeks and finally asked for my money back. I recieved an email from the nappy lady saying that I was a fraudster and that i had recieved these nappies and was trying to get a refund too [hmmm] after a few heated emails she apoligised and I did get refunded.

Shortly after that another parcel that I bought didnt arrive and after 8 weeks of trying to contact the seller and recieving no replies I contacted the nappy lady for help. Again she said that I was a lier and a fraudster and that two parcels wouldnt go missing. I never recieved a refund for them.

Thirdly as parcel that I sent out as a seller never arrived and so i advised the buyer of the tracking number as I sent it signed for delivery. It is not even showing up on the royal mail site so she has gone and put a complaint in with the nappy lady whom despite me sending proof of postage to, has banned me from the nappy lady site and has also emailed everyone on there warning them that I am a fraudster.

I'm really upset about this and really dont know what to do. I have no problems refunding the person whose nappies havent arrived but I dont want people thinking i'm a dishonest person. Sorry for posting on here just wondered if anyone has had any problems with them in the past?

Vikki

I'm not much help, never had any problems.

What happened when you contacted royal mail about your parcel? They can tell you if it is signed for and give you the proof to clear your name.

I've had a parcel that I sent go missing luckily my buyer has been very understanding whilst I sort out with Royal Mail about compensation. It a shame that you have been banned from the nappy lady website. That does seem very unfair.

I have found that when I posted on here about what to do about the missing parcel several people said they have also had parcels go missing. It seems worse since Royal Mail had these two strike days.

Thanks for your replies, I was just so upset this morning to come down to all this and to top it all off i'm going in to be induced in 3 weeks and want to get it sorted before then.

I have tried putting the tracking number into royal mails site but it just says that no details have been found and royal mail have no record of it being delivered. My guess is that it is sat in a sorting office somewhere .

The buyer is being sort of understanding and i'm going to ring her in a min as there is nothing worse than dealing with a faceless person via email.

I'm more hurt by the comments from the nappy lady and the fact that she has informed people on the site that I am dodgy which is not true

Call royal mail personally - the sites sometimes go nuts

Fireflyfairy2 · 19/07/2007 08:39

I have tried to trace an item before & when it said no item has been founds, both times it has been delivered.

If you call the number on the back of the recorded delivery slip it should let you talk to a person, not a computer.

I find it strange that 3 transactions have went wrong though, so I'm sure you must understand how it looks to someone you don't know & who doesn't know you...? It's a shame though if you can't clear your name.

FlameDelacour · 19/07/2007 08:41

Whhere has she told people not to buy from you?

vikki75 · 19/07/2007 11:12

The email i have been sent off her says that she has told buyers and sellers who use the site that i'm fraudulant (in her own words)

I have been on the site but cannot see anything so wondering if she has emailed them personally.

I have been intouch with royal mail and compensation claim is going through so things are getting sorted out. I'm just upset at her attitude towards the whole thing

is that slander or libel - whichever ...., sounds a nightmare either way - hope you gets sorted soon

vikki75 · 19/07/2007 11:24

it is slander if someone threatens to do it but it libel if she actually does it and like i pointed out to her being the head of the company its not going to go down well if i do pursue it.

At the end of the day i'm not a nappy business I am just a cloth virgin who got alot of nappies to try out and sold the ones that I wasnt happy with. I just didnt want people on forums to be contacted as when i start using them i'm going to need all the help i can get lol
