I am a married man with 2 children, aged 5 and 1.
The 5 year old is a child from my wife’s previous relationship. I’ve taken care of her since she was 2 years old. I obviously love her as my own.
She’s asking questions as to why her surname is different so the subject has come up of do we tell her I’m not her “real” Dad.
Some advice on how to approach it and whether it’s too early would be much appreciated.
