My son doesn’t speak only babbles and he’s 4 in September. Speech therapist says that we have to help him by doing various tasks but other than that she isn’t worried. He understands most things we say, but he is very naughty. Also he tends to be very hyperactive (at times) to the point where we can’t really take him anywhere without a tantrum. He also does this thing where he pushes cars around and around babbling whilst he does it. He hates getting dressed, brushing his teeth etc
His eating habits are not great either, will eat porridge, dry cereal, chocolate, chicken nuggets, and yogurt.. plus water and fruit drinks.
He’s just always resistant.
I’ve looked up symptoms of autism but he just doesn’t fit. I really don’t want to have to go down the road of medical tests etc if this is Normal?
Can someone relate or help? Thanks
