Treadmill

I have 2 DC aged 7 and 4 and often I feel all I do is tidy/clean/cook/sort/provide/break up fights/answer inane questions etc etc! More and more recently I've become so bored and irritated with this treadmill which barely seems rewarding. I love them without question but sometimes it's just too much!! Anyone else feel the same? Any tips? Grin

Ha I just told my daughter that being a parent just means endless cooking and cleaning! And I hate to do either! It does get better though (get them doing those chores young)!

My mother often felt like this. She used to get very frustrated. It's the main reason I stayed working after DD was born.

Yes I work 4 days a week, I know the answer is the probably engage them in activities more so they don't just keep wrecking the house but that's not realistic always. They just don't give a shit really, i constantly find trails of their stuff all over the house. That's basically the game, how much of our shit can we spread around 2 mins after Mum has tidied up?! I know this is age old and won't stop until they actually move out but my patience is SO thin. Any tips for more patience?! started on the wine already . . . Confused
