Second hand cloth nappies - worth it?

Hi,

I've found what I think to be a good deal on second hand cloth nappies. It's 18 nappies plus lots of inserts and boosters and waterproof bag to store them in.
The total price is ÂŁ62 including postage so obviously much cheaper than brand new (which I can't afford and not planning on having more children so will only be using for one child), but I'm concerned that the quality won't be great. From what I understand they have been used on one child from birth until 2years.

Those of you who use cloth nappies, does 2 years of use make a big difference to quality and effectiveness? Eg elasticity and fit?
