My little boy is 3 months old today. Since birth his eyes have been a grey/blue colour. I think they will go brown like my naturally very dark brown. Dh is convinced they will stay blue like him. What do you guys think? What colour eyes do your little ones have?

Well my dd's eyes only seemed to settle to a specific colour when she was around 4 so there is plenty of time for your dc's eyes to change colour. However, all the babies I have known whose eyes have changed to brown have started changing very early on, within the first month or so. They all started off very dark blue before changing to a weird very dark greyish/brown almost black murky colour before moving into a definite brown. Then the shade of brown didn't settle until later on. From looking at the photo I would say that your dc's eyes will stay on the blue scale (blue, grey or green).

Wow... 4, I'd never heard of that, I thought maybe up to a year or so. I'm really interested to see what they end up like, but I love either colour. What colour are your daughters now Duckee?

Once her eyes started lightening from the original dark blue, they gradually went to a very piercing light blue, then grey and now green. I thought they'd settled to grey at around 2 years old but then last summer they seemed to have a last burst of effort and now they're a very definite green. I presume that they won't change anymore as they've been green for the past year.

I waited ages to see what colour my son’s eyes would be!

They finally changed from newborn dark grey to lovely bright blue - just like my mum’s. My eyes are blue but not like theirs. I love it because he looks so like his dad but he has my family’s colouring Smile

Your son has lovely eyes!

They are a lovely colour! My son has really dark brown eyes which people comment on as me and DP are both blue/grey eyed (he was from donor eggs and the donor was Greek so he has taken her eyes) I'm due a baby from own eggs next month so interested to see how different his eyes are

DC1 had the usual dark blue/grey, they slowly got lighter and were a greenish sort of colour. Hazel at 2, now at 7 they are more of a dark/medium brown.

DC2 were the same colour as DC1 born, went light blue, now at 15 months they are a light blue/grey. Interested to see if they will change again.

I come from a family where light coloured eyes have been known to continue shifting colour into the teens! I believe an aunt went from blue to hazel at that age; my eyes are still basically grey, but have a lot of flecks of colour in them (hence react to light conditions and clothing).

Hi, wondering what color your baby’s eyes turned out to be. My baby is 4 months and has grey eyes. Was born with really dark blue/ grey eyes l.
