Health visitor home visit ? 36 weeks

Had a call to say I’ll be having my home visit next week. she said this was normal? What happens at these appointments does anyone know? Thank you

They just have an informal chat with you and introduce themselves and ask you how you're feeling. They also give you booklets on breastfeeding, baby poops and things like that. They'll ask how and where you're planning on giving birth. Then they'll let you know that they'll be back after the baby has been born once the midwives have discharged you. All very easy going.
