Help putting baby in the cot

Hi all,
I have a 7mo daughter and we've just started putting her in her own room. She's waking every hour or so (teething and settling into nursery are to blame) so we have to go in and settle her a lot. I have problems with my knees, hips and back which i worse during the evening and night.
I am really struggling with physically putting her in the cot without waking her because i find it difficult to bend far enough. Therefore my partner is doing more than his far share and is exhausted.
Does anyone have any ideas that could help?

You could get a cot where one side of the cot comes down? Or many cots can have the bed at 3 leveld, could you place it on the middle or top level so you don't have to reach as far? Have had similar issue to you and its freaky tough!! Hope she settled soon
