Sudden fear of bath

As the title says really, one of my dts has suddenly become scared of the bath. They are 2 and have a bath together, up until about a week ago they loved it. Now one of them screams and wants to get out so I give him a really quick wash and get him out. Any ideas of what I can do? I can't think of anything that has changed to make him scared.

Forgot to add that I have tried bathing him on his own too but same reaction.

If he didn't get a fright it's probably just a phase and he'll grow out of it eventually. Rotating toys to keep bathtime interesting and singing bath songs helps in our household.

Thanks snowdrop I will get some new bath toys tomorrow and see if that helps.

My little one did this really randomly! Loving the bath to screaming. Absolutely no reason for it, and it lasted about a month if I remember correctly. Was just a phase! I felt terrible forcing them to have a bath, even for just a few minutes, but it worked eventually!

It's strange isn't it? I hope it is a phase and he gets over it quickly.
