Bit of a long story.... but about 2 years ago, my ex husband and his (then) girlfriend decided without my knowledge, that they would put a cot bed in the downstairs utility room and make my (then) 6yr sleep in there. So at bedtime everyone went upstairs to bed and she slept downstairs. I found out about 4 months later that this was happening and straight away said no way! either she comes upstairs and sleeps with her brother in a bedroom or with my ex on the floor or she doesn't sleep there at all.
He has now seperated with the girlfriend now, so my daughter no longer sleeps there but since then she has really bad isssues trying to get to sleep. Hates being alone. Won't sleep without the light on etc.
Can anyone recommend what i can do to help her.
