we got one of these chairs, and put it on the toilet downstairs. we then told her about potty training, how when she needed a poo or wee she needs to go and sit on the toilet. we also got her a few pairs of the bambio mio potty training pants as they are absorbent in case she had an accident. when she did a wee in the toilet, i gave her one smartie, for a poo it was 2 smarties and she got to ring a bell (from amazon). i didnt let her use the bell any other time so she viewed it as a special treat. we showed her how to wipe herself straight away (for wees only, poos i helped with until she was older) - be sure to check that she is dry before she pulls her pants up and tell her how many squares of paper to use - else you will end up with the whole loo roll in the toilet! all the best x
