How to introduce formula from breast

Hi,

Breastfeeding my 2nd baby. 10 weeks in. Hasn't been too bad so far but with a toddler in tow I'm finding it increasingly hard like today where she has been on/off all day and can't settle her. I'm seriously considering this is too much. Especially as I have them both 4 days a week and my eldest is quite demanding with attention.

If you were me when would you introduce a bottle? For the night feed? I'm not in a routine as such yet and everyday is different with sleep/feeds. I'm doing on demand.

Also can anyone Recommend a good bottle? Tried Tommee Tippee so far and baby not interested

Thanks. Just feeling overwhelmed today as I'm tired and wish I'd of clocked up the hours of feeds today!!

I tried Mam which didn't work but Munckin Latch did. I remember reading a lot of threads about best bottles and it seemed lots of diff brands worked for diff babies.

There's no right or wrong with this stuff. If you think a bottle may help, try it. I'm sure you're very tired. My mum constantly said, "just do whatever works for you". I think it was sound advice.

You do what is right for you and your baby and don't let anyone persuade you one way or another. There is absolutely nothing wrong or shameful with using formula (and I bf so I'm certainly not biased). When I have used bottles I had a lot of success with Dr Brown ones. My boy took to them instantly. But it really is different bottles working for different babies. Good luck :) x
