Pregnant and no bath

We live in a house that we bought to renovate. Pretty much done, apart from the bathroom. It’s a decent size, but only has a shower, no bath. I’m now pregnant and we won’t have the money to do the bathroom for a few years now. Bathing a baby will be fine as we will have a baby bath, but what about when he or she gets bigger, anyone else managed without a bath?

Could you maybe look at just getting a bath installed, rather than a new bathroom?

We have no bath and I have had 2 babies here. We used a baby bath in the shower until they were about 18 months then had normal showers. No drama they both love a shower.

We have a bath, but my 22 month old has been having showers too since he was about 7 months old and we’ve had no problems.

My DD has been going in the shower with one of us since she was a few weeks oldSmile

Can you install a bath and save all the extras for later?

I’ve got a toddler and newborn and no bath. We use a baby bath for the newborn and then a larger plastic baby bath which is flat for the toddler. Granted the toddler cant lie flat in it- she just sits up in it. Half the time the toddler will have a shower in any case and loves it. So I wouldn’t worry x

My DS has showers at his dads house, he’s been having them happily for ages. I wouldn’t stress about it.
Plus DS has to have a shower after he shits in the bath at mine anyway 😂
