How often do you and your OH take DC out each on your own?

Was talking about this with my dsis the other day, and just wondering what the situation is in other families.

With us, I quite often take our dc out on my own - in the holidays it's not that surprising as I am a SAHM whereas DH is at work. But even at weekends, I will take the kids out, either for a couple of hours or sometimes for the day. I might do this if DH is out doing a long bike tour, for example.
My dsis, who is not a SAHM, does the same - she will often do things on her own with the dc, but her OH very, very rarely does.
Mine is the same - he will very occasionally take them somewhere, but it's not a regular thing at all, and it would be more likely to be something that he's interested in which he takes them along to with him iysiwm, whereas I would plan an activity based primarily on what I think the kids would like to do.
My DH must have noticed this himself, because the other day he mentioned that he'd like to plan some things to do with the boys.
I should say that we also do lots of things together as a family - but I actually enjoy my time on my own with the dc too, and I think it's a nice thing to do.

So what's the situation with you? Do you take the kids out on your own? Does your OH take them off for the day sometimes?

I'm a SAHM and take the dc out for the day all of the time, dd during term time and both of them during school holidays. Dp only rarely takes them out alone, we go out lots as a family and sometimes take one each if one has a party or event the other isn't going to, but it's not very often. If I go out for the day he might take them out but that's only maybe once a month.

I’ve just come back to work from mat leave and currently work part time (though very long days). So I have them more full days on my own during the week due to my schedule (work 3 days, home 2).

My dh has them before and after school until evenings on the days I work. I leave at 6am and home at 7-7:30pm. He occasionally takes a weekday off to be at home (during school holidays we share childcare). We mostly do things together on the weekends but a few times a year we’re each away and then the other has them all weekend or longer.

So though I am ‘home’ more as in not working every day (at the moment anyway), we probably have them alone about equally as my dh will have them about 6 hours a day when I’m working 3 days a week. We also both take them away for one on one time. I’ve gone away for the weekend alone with each of them and dh takes our eldest for camping weekends (youngest still too little for that).

My dh and I each do some sport st the weekend. When he’s doing his I’m more likely to take dcs out whereas he’s more likely to stay in when I’m doing mine.
But he does have a couple of friends with kids that they do things out and about together too.

Our scenario is similar i work pt, DH works ft. I take the kids out quite a bit on my own but DH very rarely does.

My DH works a lot so I’m always taking DD out by myself. I can’t remember the last time he took DD out by himself although I think that’s in part because we don’t get much time as a family so when we’re all there we want to go out together

I take our 2 dc out myself all week, at weekends we all go out together or dh takes them out by himself while I stay at home to work/clean/doss. I don't understand fathers who don't/won't take their own children places by themselves or mind them on their own for a few hours or days, I would find it a very off-putting characteristic but I also definitely wouldn't pander to it so he'd be made take them whether he liked it or not and would just have to get used to it!

We both work FT so on the weekends we try not to split up. But DH does take them out. I also travel for work sometimes (as does he) so the other one has to look after the DC then.
