DS is due 1st MMR this week, which i have every intention of taking him to.

Was wondering whether anyone could point me in the direction of a list of possible reactions / studies etc, so i can have a look before we take him.

Cheers

Possible reactions are just the same as for every other jab, AFAIK - possible rash, sore lump at the injection site, general grouchiness... nothing a bit of Calpol won't sort out! Good luck!

DD had hers 12 days ago. About nine days post jab she had a bit of a rash on her face, but that only lasted 36hours or so. She's a bit grouchy but, as Tinkjon said, nothing Calpol can't sort.

Nurses said she may have swollen glands about 14 days post jab, when the mumps vaccine kicks in, but that not all do. Don't worry too much. MMR is hyped, but not as bad as you think.

DS had his last year and was fine, no reaction at all.
