So whats the deal with wrestling?!?!?

My Ds 3.10 and Dd 2.4 have started "friendly" wrestling. Can keep them entertained for long periods and both seem to love it...BUT often eventually ends in tears when one or the other is a bit over enthusiastic. Not sure wether to put foot down and stop altogether or let them get on with it and deal with tears if they happen or set some "game rules" (although not sure what they would be). I remember doing the same with my brother and DH with his sister...never did us any harm and even though it was usually me in tears I remember really enjoying the so called "fight"!

Any pearls of wisdom?

Maybe set some game rules i.e. If someone starts crying, the wrestling stops. I have two boys (5 and 3) and they love to wrestle each other but it usually ends with tears when the little one pining his brother and sits on his head. Still, they love it before the tears start so I generally let them get on with it.

Course it will always end in tears, but thats part of the fun. Your siblings are the only people in your whole life you can bash about so I say let them enjoy it.
