Recommendations for slings

Looking for a sling, currently have a babybjorn one or whatever they're called and it really hurts my neck. Interested in the material type wrap slings but have zilch knowledge of them. Any recommendations?

I would go to a sling library so you can look at variety and then rent them from anywhere from a week to a month to test it out 😊

I love my Rose and Rebellion one, it’s more structured rather than a wrap though.

A Moby is a good stretchy one to start with. For summer a gauze one from Cailin Bleu is cooler, but a stretchy one is more forgiving while you're getting the hang of it. I never got the hang of ring slings like Closer or Caboo and kept going through the wrong bit.

If you can't find a library can you meet someone who uses them to help? Fsiling that there's online videos and practice facing a bed.

Thank you- I'm going to try a moby and found one on eBay for a fiver 😊

Good luck! Ds thought it was hilarious when I practiced with his teddy bear and a friend in the local pub, and then in my bedroom before I was willing to put dd in it...

I would highly recommend the Amawrap. Really comfy and not a stretchy as others (100% cotton) so DS doesn't 'slip' down. plus i can just chuck it in the wash when DS pukes all over it! Smile

Hey OP! In case you or anyone else out there is still looking, you might like to have a look at our baby carriers reviews page, here.

Hope you find something that works for you.
