Slide in the garden - how do I stop DD going on it?!

DD has just been bought a big slide from her GPs. She's fine on it with our help getting up but I don't want her attempting to climb it without us, when she's roaming free in the garden. Is there such thing as a slide guard to stop her?! Any tips appreciated.

Gummy no I mean I'm in the kitchen while he's outside. I can see and hear him but not watching everything he does.

That's annoying, my kitchen isn't anywhere near the garden. Maybe I could set up a hammock and read while he roams.

My dd is 15 months old and i leave her playing say in her room while i am in our room tidying.

Again she'll be in the lounge while i'm in the kitchen.

Checking every 30seconds or so.

Once weather stays nice and she is walking well i'll do same as you OP and let her roam the garden while.i watch from kitchen window, i'll be just as close as if i was sat outside

Oh and if the slide is on the grass, teach her how to go up. If she falls, grass is pretty soft to land on.
