Just wondering what other people are dressing their babies in at the moment. My boy normally wears a vest, long sleeved T-shirt, trousers and socks. Cardi/jumper/waterproof jacket are always with us as we spend all day outside. Starting to feel he’s getting too hot now it’s sunny. Thoughts? Thanks

How old is your baby? Mines more a toddler now at 15 months and hes wearing very similar- jeans/leggings and two layers for tops eg vest and long sleeve top. Cardigan or body warmers if its bit cooler. I've always gone with the one layer more than me approach

Differs from day to day. Today it was lovely and warm and we were in the park so DD (6m) wore long sleeve vest, dungarees, sun hat and socks. I had a thick cardigan with us just in case but wasn't needed.

My boy is 4 months old. We are outside from 8am until 5pm so all his naps are outside. I am gardening so moving a lot and can be down to a T-shirt when it’s still cold. How can I tell if he is too hot or too cold?

I usually dress my 5 month old the same and usually put a blanket over his legs in the pram if it’s windy or cooler.

I find the easiest way to check is sticking a hand down the back of his top and feeling his back. It should be warm not hot or cool.
