Orchard Games worth a look. Pop'n'Drop Penguins (a ludo variant) is still played in our house (DCs now 9 and 11).

Any pop and hop ludo varient. Destination Animation (if you can get hold of it), Carcassonne, takenoko, satorini, pass the pigs, junior scrabble. Dominos (extend onto points for if the totals are divisible 2/3/5), forbidden Island, pokemon tcg (if you get into the community find a shop that runs a league)

Not quite a board game, more a card game, but Dobble is brilliant. Great for the adults involved too!

Peaceable kingdom games are cooperative.

ds loved Junior Monopoly and eventually Monopoly (but we don't play anymore because too many arguments!!)
