Mum guilt

I constantly have mum guilt , I just constantly feel like I can't give my children enough , even though they have lots of toys , clean clothes , 3 lovely meals a day , they get treats from the shop of a Friday (sweets , crisps a drink ) that type of thing .

I just feel like they need more . They are probably perfectly fine and happy . And it's just me over worrying ! Think it may stem from when I was a child and I didn't have a lot so I try and over compensate with my children ! As I don't want them to feel that they go without .

Hope this makes sense ! I'm just ranting haha

Maybe just take a minute every now to then when they're playing nicely and just look at them and observe their happiness in that moment and make a mental note of it because that's all that matters, if they feel secure and able to play and be happy and 'be children'. It'll all be over so quickly, they'll grow up and you'll wonder why you worried. Enjoy while it lasts!

Much easier said than done, but you need to get this under control before they learn to take advantage of it - because that won't do any of you any good.
