Long lasting toys are tomy eggs and coloured scarves. At 3 years old she still plays with them.

Musical instruments! Tambourines, bells, shakers, clackers, cymbals, drums, anything you can think of.

Also sensory balls and scarves.

All those are still played with by 2.5 year old, now dc2 is 10 months they can play with them together which is nice.

Definitely Tomy Eggs, I buy those for any new parent!

My 8 month old loves wooden spoons and silicon spatulas, great for waving and chewing
