How to help a friend with PND?

I've posted this question on the postnatal page but I wanted to also post here where there is probably more traffic. Grateful for any suggestions!

My friend has a 2 month old baby and she is suffering with PND. I'm going to see her soon - how can I help her? I've had a baby myself but no experience with PND.

Just be a listening ear I’d say mainly :) Not sure if she’s got help (assuming so if she’s been diagnosed) but it not if your close friends see if she can chat to her HV and GP. Don’t give up on her if she doesn’t respond to messages for a while :) just keep checking in with her. It maybe hard for her to get herself out so going to hers is great. Maybe Offer to help out with something in the house while you there? 😊that always helps me! X
