Upset baby days have gone

I am a mum of 3 beautiful children two boys aged 15 and 11 and a little girl 3. Recently I have been feeling really sad my baby's are all growning up. I have found myself going over old photos of my babies first year. Only I have started feeling really sad as although I have taken thousands of photos I'm only in around 45 photos in my children's first year. Im starting to wish I was in more. Am I the only one who wishes she was in more photos with her children. Do other mums only have a few photos with there children.

Yes me! I took most of them so I’m not in most of them.

Some of the nice ones that I am in have been framed and hung on the wall, maybe do that with some of them?

I have the ones that I love on my walls. But there's not very many. It's just now friends are all having babies I have noticed how many take selfies with there babies. Something I didn't do. When I did ask for photos of me to be taken a lot of the photos I was chopped out of. I have put an album together and although I am in there I also feel very absent to.

I blame Facebook memories for this My eldest is turning 4 very soon, youngest (about to be middle child) is 2.5. A video of DC2 at about 4 months old, babbling away on my bed popped up this morning and made me feel all “aww he’s not a baby anymore ”. That coupled with the school admissions email I got for DC1’s school place today hammered it home.
And I’m finally realising that preschooler is waaaaaaay harder than the baby stage when it comes to life in general My newborn will feel like an absolute breeze when he/she arrives compared to these two feral beasts

How many photos would u say u have with ur baby in the first year x

My little girl is half day nursery and as she is my last I wish I had taken more videos and photos of the two of us together x

Sarah A lot of my family live in another country, so I do take lots of photos and videos of them so the family can see them grow. Pictures of me with the DCs are few and far between purely because I’m usually the one taking the photos!
