have got some terry nappies that i wouldn't mind trying on ds2. do better wraps exist these days than the old fashioned plastic variety? he's 11 weeks and chunky. do they come adjustable?

Wool is breathable, nice n stretchy (so fits not an issue) and just all snuggly

I love wool as well. I ended up using wool most of the time - we had wool shorties with a drawstring for days and felted, thicker wool wraps for night.
They feel so nice and squidgy when you hold your baby, unlike PUL wraps which are stiffer. Squidgy bums!

I've got a pair of black skull shorties that are amazingly soft wool, and some seahorse slacks longies that are really thick and soft.

I'm normally one for "normal" looking trousers during the day, but I do relent and put him in the longies on the days when I feel like curling up in bed - he looks all soft and snuggly and makes me feel like at least one of us is comfy.

Just to add another vote here for the Motherease airflow ones. I've only just found them - used rikki/bambino mio-style ones on dses 1 and 2 but bought some secondhand Motherease poppers ones from someone on here for ds3. They are fantastic - lovely and soft and hold EVERYTHING in! Found the velcro round the waist went really hard on the rikki/mio ones.

maisiemog - very cute baby photos indeed on your blog...
i think i am trying a selection of wraps including a motherease, a nature baby, a totsbots, and a imse so hopefully one will fit.
definitely need big nappies as ds growing visibly at present (she says typing in rare break from usual role as purveyor of fine dairy products to baby)

Thank you! I will pass on your compliment to DS and my other model. Hope you find something to suit.
